• 70% to you: You keep the majority of each sale
• 30% to Promptsy: Covers platform hosting, payment processing, customer support, and ongoing development

Payments are processed through Stripe Connect and deposited directly to your bank account. No minimums, no delays - you get paid as you earn.

Step-by-Step Publishing Guide

Step 1: Set Up Stripe Connect

Before you can sell anything, you need to connect your Stripe account:

• Go to your Promptsy Settings → Marketplace
• Click "Connect Stripe Account"
• Complete the Stripe Connect onboarding (takes 5-10 minutes)
• Provide your business details and bank account information
• Wait for Stripe approval (usually instant, sometimes 24-48 hours)

Once approved, a green checkmark appears in your settings and you're ready to publish.

Step 2: Prepare Your Listing

Select a prompt or bundle from your library and click the visibility toggle. Choose "Marketplace" to open the Publishing Drawer.

Step 3: Set Your Price

Price your offering based on:

• Complexity: Simple prompts ($2-$10), Complex bundles ($20-$100+)
• Value delivered: How much time/money does it save?
• Competition: Research similar listings
• Target audience: Individuals vs enterprises

Remember: you can always adjust pricing later based on sales data.

Step 4: Auto-Generated Assets

Click "Generate Assets" and Promptsy automatically creates:

• README.md: Professional documentation explaining what your listing does, how to use it, and what results to expect
• Cover Image: Eye-catching 1280×720 image generated by AI (DALL·E) based on your prompt content

You can edit both before publishing if you want to customize them.

Step 5: Choose a License

Select your licensing terms:

• Personal Use: Buyer can use but not resell or share
• Commercial Use: Buyer can use in their business
• Extended: Buyer can modify and use in client projects

Step 6: Preview and Publish

Review your listing preview showing exactly how it will appear to buyers. Check:
